History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Guard mother left him crippled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her morningstar with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her beige fur is thinning but still full. She has green eyes.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Flask was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Flask's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
