History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Helja was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Helja's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Helja never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
