Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nyx isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nyx grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nyx. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Pyra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.
