History: He was born into a rich family. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the south to a Beggar, Oskar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Doctor, but he got bored and became a Beggar. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a doctor again

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Mantus was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cook. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is greedy; and wishes to resurrect an old love
