History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She became a Map Maker soon after.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.
