Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Thorin isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Thorin hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born in a small island village. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She wants to get laid; and wants her loneliness to end

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found
