History: Shadow lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Shadow was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bather they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Body Guard, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born in the east to a Miller, Nella learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
