History: She got into the Mercenary business at a young age. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shanairla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
