Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing her hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student she started as a Dyer, but she got bored and became a Courier. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
