Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valafar embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Valafar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Valafar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
