History: Gifted from a young age, Ralf studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ralf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ralf. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Rolen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Rolen has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.
