History: Gifted from a young age, Elysande studied abroad. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Butcher kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Skirt is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Skirt was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 7 years.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Hupe lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
