History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Katherine was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Katherine's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
