History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Kilvar's homeland. Kilvar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
