History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Joser was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shepherd. History: Wiggens was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Phelaia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
