History: Mastema was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Heather abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by a spirit.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
