History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Matilda was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Matilda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Knight.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Baker. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Baker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in the east to a Doctor, Birel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. A true patriot, Beast would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
