Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Akmen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Through the years after Akmen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Akmen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
