Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with white slacks. Her chestnut hair is braided into rings. She is baby faced.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. A true patriot, Grigi would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: She was born into a rich family. After coming to the age of reason, Grigi took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He is lean but muscular and is typically in his Engraver uniform. He has a very tight haircut. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: This malnourished man is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His silver hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: Karash was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: To be a Barber again.

Description: This dark-skinned male is wearing a long, tan, dusty cloak. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Igden speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Igden was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Locksmith for the past few years.
Motivation: He is content; and further expansion of business

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: Ar-Karo hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
