History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: This younger middle-aged man usually wears his white robe and has his warhammer always slung over his shoulder, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Skak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Skak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Skak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Skak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Weaver arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright father left him crippled. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
