History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alston grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants a kiss.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born in the west. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Matilda was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Matilda decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.
