Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nikki embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Nikki was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.
