History: Born to a Masseuse, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heather grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heather. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Volen was taken on many hunting expeditions. Volen was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Cook. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Volen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Olivia and her spouse have recently divorced.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Thamior lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
