Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nirgel does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Anakis was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Anakis's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Emeny abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
