History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Fargrim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
