History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Mella has worked very hard to control her curse. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Silgre took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor she uses now. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.
