History: Zook hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chaedi fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

History: Born in the east to a Dyer, Ronwe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
