History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Morthos was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Morthos reached his early adolescence his Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Bounty Hunter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly morningstars and halberds. His auburn hair is long and unkept. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ar-Kaius grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ar-Kaius. Being a Beggar kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
