History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents enrolled her in a Adept school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and regain custody of her daughter

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She became a Fortune-teller soon after.
