She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Jillian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
