History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Bertram's homeland. Bertram decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lilli was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born in the north to a Slave Trader, Ownka learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A freak accident while working with her Stylist father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Galinndan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Odorr was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
