He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Millicent was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
