Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. One day when Barendd was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Barendd was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Gomory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gomory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Diesa is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Diesa has worked very hard to control her curse. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Guard, and she later adopted a second daughter.
