History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.
