History: Ur-Masi hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Through the years after Ur-Masi was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ur-Masi's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Tippletoe learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.
