Personality: Adelard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Chenna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Wobbles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Wobbles. He bought a scimitar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
