History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Personality: Roger hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. Roger enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 40. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When Vani reached her early adolescence her Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Sun lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
