Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Hogar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Hogar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born in a small plains village. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Verna was born with her father's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
