History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Herbalist mother left her crippled. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: She stands about 3'1" and wears a white costume with the symbols of strength on her torso. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her red hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Portia embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Portia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his shortspear with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the north to a Baker, Caeldrim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Elf Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: This man has the majority of his body covered in plate. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His fur is cinnamon and curly. His eyes are likewise copper. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Edge and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is greedy

Voice: Puts emphasis on the wrong words

Description: She wears a grey shirt, with a black mid length skirt with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her eyes are likewise green.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Alice never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and money/treasure
