History: Cumpen lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Weaver. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Weaver for hire.

She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A freak accident while working with her Miller father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Mehen was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for her, and Maegan does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Maegan lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
