History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Rael took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up bastard sword and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
