Description: An older woman who wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), she is not a threatening figure. She is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around her ears. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered dire rats who tried to eat her hand. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thoradin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants. His head has been shaved. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Barendd is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barendd grew up listening to his father's many stories. His childhood dream was to be a Layabout, but he was a colossal failure. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She has a dull look in her gray eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born to a Dilettante, her father struggled to pay the bills. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Description: 5'10" and muscular, this western man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His golden hair is matted, messy, and big. He has gray eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
