History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cook they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Miner, and she later adopted a second daughter.

He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the south to a Banker, Quick learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
