History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hoshû was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Margery learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She has worked as a Layabout like her father before her.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a suit in poor condition. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Silent was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Silent was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: She is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
