History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gorgûm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She takes great joy in being the best Stableman in town.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Delre was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Stableman. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Right-Handed was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Weaver and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Beggar. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Raer was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Roofer again; and wants to work out more often

He wears a brown shirt, with a pastel mid length shorts with pastel tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He wears his blonde hair down. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his old friends
