Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. William is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: William lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. History: Verin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Miner, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miner they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Apothecary, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and doesn't want to be a apothecary and was forced into it by her family

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This late middle aged man is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats and is in decent physical shape. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
