The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Mercenary kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Varis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
