History: Zed lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Zed abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
