When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Marbas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Everard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Everard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
