History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Smoking was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Smoking's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

History: Erky hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Erky alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Lewis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A freak accident while working with his Dyer mother left him crippled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kyle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This western man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Glim embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He is an amazing painter.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he loathes his own lifestyle
